At Essential Bliss Doula Services, I focus on both education and empowerment to help women approach birth with confidence. My role is to remove fear, provide guidance, and ensure you feel in control of your decisions.
With a special emphasis on postpartum care, I help mothers heal physically and emotionally after birth. From processing birth trauma to addressing postpartum mood disorders, I provide the support and resources necessary for a healthy recovery. Maternal mental health matters, and it’s time to normalize asking for help and healing.

I’m Calista, owner of Bump To Baby Mothering Services.
What I do:
I am a local, certified birth and postpartum doula serving the Magic Valley and surrounding areas, with over 10 years of experience in the birth world. I am deeply passionate about supporting families emotionally, informationally, and physically through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and everything in between. I provide care for hospital births, birth center births, and home births, and I offer equal-share support to ensure families feel continuously supported throughout their journey.
I offer equal, continuous care across pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, ensuring families feel informed, empowered, and supported at every stage.
I have spent the majority of my adult life working in the medical field, experiences that have shaped both my practice and my passion for birth work. I am also a full-time nursing student with long-term goals of becoming a Certified Nurse Midwife and Nurse Practitioner, allowing me to continue serving families through a balance of holistic and evidence-based care.
My husband and I have been together for over 12 years, and together we are raising our four wonderful children. Becoming a parent has profoundly influenced my dedication to birth and postpartum care and fuels my commitment to advocating for families during some of life’s most transformative moments.

Shonnie Unruh
Birth and Postpartum Doula, BRM Birth Professional, Infant Health Coach
Hello Mamas, As a Pregnancy and Infant Health Coach I'm passionate about helping mothers grow healthy babies and bring them earthside in a nurtured environment. I understand the challenge it is in our modern society to keep ourselves and our little ones in a place of health and vitality.
Of special interest to me is supporting infant gut health, and eliminating colic and reflux.
I'm a DONA doula and Birth Professional trained under Exercise Scientist Lindsey McCoy and Midwife Rachel Shapiro to fully understand the birthing body. This training has given me the tools I need as an advanced doula to assist VBACs, athletes, and those who've perhaps had a difficult birth experience and are looking for a new approach. All women deserve to be supported, informed, and well cared for during their childbearing journey.
It's my goal to keep the ancient arts of birth and mothering alive in the US.

Regina Zaun
Hi there! My name is Regina. I am the mother to 5 children who I adore and a wife to my husband of 16 years. I've always had an interest in birth work, and finally made the decision to pursue that passion. Through my doula course I also discovered my love for lactation and postpartum. I realized so many women lack the support they need to bring their babies into this world and my hope is that I can provide that support to you and help you achieve a positive birth experience. I am excited to begin our journey together!
I am a Magic Valley Doula Collective, Certified Birth Doula. I also have a certificate for Basics of Lactation Management through Lactation Education Resources. Though I'm new to being a doula, I'm not new to pregnancy and birth. I am a naturally curious person and love to know everything going on with my body. So throughout each of my pregnancies I was always researching anything and everything about pregnancy and birth. I have attend births and had the best training possible. I’m also currently taking classes to become an IBCLC. I want to be able to there for women throughout pregnancy, birth and postpartum in any way they need.

Hi mama! I’m Emily: a devoted wife, proud mom of two, and passionate birth enthusiast dedicated to supporting families as a Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula. I’m thrilled to serve the Magic Valley community through compassionate, empowering birth work. Having experienced two incredible home births myself (so far!), my practice is rooted in a deep commitment to helping every client feel as confident and empowered as I did after my own births. I believe every mother deserves informed consent, compassionate care, and evidence-based support—and I’m here to ensure those rights are honored for every family I have the privilege to serve.
My passion extends beyond birth to lactation, postpartum care, and nurturing strong community connections.
